7 Ways To Wear Neon Turtleneck

The Neon trend is everywhere lately. From the SS19 catwalks of New York, London, Milan and Paris to the red carpet and the gym, you could spot it on every fashionistas from lime green to blinding yellow, extra hot pink and flame orange. And if you thought that this trend will be a short flame SS19 definitely proved you wrong.
Some still get a bit intimidating by this trend, some still don't know how to style it so will not look too flashy, some don't know where to start from. I received a few requests for tips of how to style neon. So here we start with my 7 ways to wear neon turtleneck. I tried to put something for everyone … All my uptown and downtown girls… From easy and casual looks, to may be even some grungy sets. From fun and party vibes, to classy styles… so I hope everyone will find their perfect look below.

I choose to get on the board of the trend with neon yellow turtleneck. That’s may be the most popular one   and easiest to go with. My choice of turtleneck is by Pretty Little Things. Which once again delivered the perfect combo of price and quality of the todays trends.

I’ll start with a cute, easy street style set. I combine my turtleneck with hight-rise perfect straight crop jeans and a khaki green open front puffer jacket. I love the combination between neon yellow and khaki. For me is the most balanced combination. I pair it with a leopard boots.
Leopard and Neon is an other very favorite combination of mine. I love the way the leopard pops on it. And even though I usually try to have only one poping element (considering that neon is already the statement in the look) I feel like in this case it works perfect. My cute round neon Deux Lux bag combines the whole set with it gray strap which corresponds perfectly with the silver mirrored sunnies.

Jeans by J.Crew; Boots by J.Crew; Bag by Deux Lux, Sunnies by RayBan and the Jacket I bought in Europe a few years ago by the brand Angels Never Die

Here is an other easy street style combo, were the neon top is combined with a leather pants and an oversized plated blazer. That set could be the perfect day to night look by simply changing the grungy leather boots with a hight heels.

Leather pants by H&M; Blazer by Free People, Boots by Bar III

This could easy be my favorite look. Here again we have the pop of color with the neon top and then we have a leopard as a statement pieces. The belted plaid brown blazer and the tobacco brown pants make the look perfectly grounded. To achieve this kind of look just balance the bright neon yellow with a good combo of earthy colors.

This I call the "no brainer" look. It's definitely the easiest. Black tight jeans, leather jacket and leather accessories. It’s very casual, very comfy, downtown look. You could elevate the look with a nice bag. My bag is by Sonia Rykel; Leather jacket by J. Crew Collection  and my jeans are by J. Crew as well.

I think the combination of neon turtleneck and a cargo jacket is what sold me to the neon trend. I love it. It looks so fashionable and easy and its just feels like ME. I combined it with a crop boyfriend jeans and my fun colorful booties by San Edelman

For a classier look of course we go to BLACK. Simple and sophisticated combo with a straight black leather pants and black long wool-cashmere coat. I elevate the look with a high heel sock booties and a suede clutch.

Pants by Mango; Coat by J. Crew; Bag by Moda Luxe; Sunnies by Miu Miu

And last but definitely not least the most fun and playful look. Neon top with combination of cobalt blue wide-leg pants and nice leopard pic-a-boo. The pants give a nice volume to the whole look while the leopard give a cute little accent. I played around with the accessories using an old plastic blue and yellow neon neckless as a belt and my custom made art earings that I had made for me a while ago. That is very NO ONE will miss you walking by look in a very fashionable and “just enough” way.

So don't be afraid of attention, put your neon top and be ready to shine this season. Don’t forget to share with me which is your favorite look.

Hi! I'm Coloristta and I’m obsessed with the color Red this season!
That’s the absolute truth guys. Color red is my biggest obsession this season. It almost feels like a need to have something red every day. And to be honest I always liked it, but never into such an obsession.
Today I am introducing you to my faux fur red coat by Aqua. I bought it from Bloomingdales in the beginning of the season and I just love it but unfortunately is not available anywhere anymore so here and here are some cool similar options .
The red obsession continues with my Sam Edelman booties and always red lips. My current favorite red lipstick is the Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick by Sephora Collection (the color number is #01Always Red).
My second obsession is my mom jeans. Please don’t judge me, but in the beginning I was making so much fun at anyone that was wearing mom jeans and now I live in mine. They are so comfortable and flattering, I can’t believe I ever worn anything else. The one I'm wearing today are by Stradivarius. I bought them in Bulgaria on my emergency trip after the Camino de Santiago, when I only had my hiking gear with me.
I am combining the look with my black Free People top with red embroidery
My third obsession is my black nails. I never ever wore black nail polish before. I always though that it’s too gothic. But now I love it so much and actually find it very classy and elegant.
My new bag is by Luana Italy and my sunnies are by Miu Miu

Pls share with me what are your obsessions this season I can’t wait to read it!

9 Ways To Wear Dad Sneakers

The “Dad Sneakers” trend is everywhere lately. From the red carpet to the gym, you could spot it on everyone from fashanistas to “on my way to work” ladies. You could find a great variety of brands from Balenciaga and Luis Vitton to Nike and Puma with a good verity of price for everyones affordability. Some still think that this trend is ugly, some still don't know how to style them besides the classic sports attire. I received a few requests of how to style them and here are my 9 ways to wear Dad Sneakers.

I choose to get on the board of the trend with this Nike M2K Tekno leather and neoprene sneakers that I bought from Net-A-Porter.

Denim shorts and white blazer. This is how I wear them in Washington D.C. few weeks ago for my sightseeing walk in the city. Cute and easy look that is a little elevated by the blazer.

Shorts: J.Crew; Linen Blazer: J.Crew; Chocoholic T’shirt: J.Crew; Sunnies: Quay; Bag: Nico Giani

Gingham set and red patent leather bag for pop of color. This set is from last collaboration of Victoria Beckham and Target. I put a thin belt for a better shaping and one of my favorite small, red bags for an accent.

Gingham twill top: Victoria Beckham for Target; Pants: Victoria Beckham for Target; Belt: J.Crew; Sunnies: Quay; Bag: Deux Lux; Watch: IWatch by Apple

Denim and White combo. Denim skirt and an oversized off-the-shoulder top. Easy, comfortable and cute everyday set.

My skirt is by Paige; The Top is by Free People (similar); Sunnies: RayBan; Bag: Nico Giani

Bright blue, wide leg pants and a white tee. I like the volume that the wide leg pants give of the look. It’s the perfect combo with the chunky sneakers The pants are by H&M the t’shirt is by J.Crew.

Bright socks and a denim dress. Come on, we all know that  high socks and a dad sneakers goes like peanut butter and jelly. In the past, we all have been making fun at somebody’s dad about that look. But now is our turn to have some fun with it. In my look I simply try to pair every color with something. The red for the socks correspond with my bright lips and my patent leather bag. The white sneakers I pair with my Watch and the dress goes with my navy sunnies and the blue from the socks. I wear my Hysteria by Happy Socks block colors socks.

This is probably the easiest look. It’s Hampton’s inspired. Navy and white stripe cashmere sweater and a white linen shorts. Red lips for an accent. Easy and comfortable.

Shorts and Cashmere sweater by J.Crew

This is probably my favorite look. It’s so fun and cute and even sexy. My mini dress is last year AQUA. I love the big ruffle sleeves my small round Nico Giani bag perfectly combine the whole look.

Jeans and Chunky sneakers is the other ultimate look. If you are not styling them with sport attire jeans are the second favorite choice by most. I choose a crop flair Madewell jeans and a white tee with small red print to correspond with my red lips. The Quay mirrored sunglasses are the perfect ending to this easy everyday look.

And last but not least denim skirt with a White oversized button down shirt and a pickaboo crop top. Most of the times when I need an oversized shirt  to put on or to wrap around my waist I just grab one regular shirt from my husband closet. This time is not different. I’m using my husband Charles Tyrwhitt work shirt. It works perfect for me.

Comment below and let me know what's your favorite look. And I’m waiting for your new requests ;)

When Desert Meet Ocean

This winter was the longest and craziest one and by the end of it I was absolutely despaired for some “Vitamin Sea”. We wanted something nice and easy that will be able to relax and recharge the batteries. After few of my winter trips got canceled in the last moment Cabo was on the horizon. Setting up my luggage for there I was focused on  3 different styles of clothes. The first one: Plain, clean, minimalist silhouette in a desert colors - Inspired by the scenery of Cabo, the gorgeous mix of desert, rocks and ocean. The second one: ethno chic, colorful and fun - Inspired by the Mexican style. And the third one, of course - beachwear.

The First one: I always love a plain, minimalist style - neutral colors, classic lines, solid fabrics, and timeless silhouettes. There is so much sophistication in it, specially with combination with an earthy, desert colors. This gorgeous Avec Les Filles slip dress I bought a while ago and was absolutely in love with its simple line. The color is perfect and the zippered slits at the side add a casual, yet elegant touch to it. It was the perfect dress for Cabo. My bag is by Cult Gaia.

That knitwear set I bought from Zara. Just tell me isn’t it perfect for a nice evening by the beach at Cabo with a view of the water and the rock formation…. Because this is exactly were I wear it.

I brought this outfit for some casual “I don’t want to think about it too much” look, but when I went out with it I received so many compliments about it. I always love when this happens. The skirt (which I’m in love with) is by Free people. The linen t’shirt is last year J.Crew… the bag is old, old H&M and the shoes are by INC International Concept.

The second one: For me is very important to always incorporate in my look some elements that are traditional for the place that I’m visiting. Of course they are always through my perspective and are combined with my personal sense of style and the season trends.

That ethno chic inspired dress is by Free people. The bag is also by Free people (similar here). My jacket is by J. Crew. My gorgeous espadrilles are by Superdry. And you could find a similar necklace here.

I love nude colors swimwear. For me is so sexy and classy. For  some of my favorite nude colors swim at you could check herehere and here.

My favorite type of swimwear is with high-waisted bikini. They are the chicest... the sexiest and one of those thing that are flattering on any body type. Here are some of my favorite for the season - here; here; here and here.
